Napoli now nearing move for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku now might just be set to join a Serie A club once again as the Belgian is nearing a switch to Napoli under Antonio Conte.

The talks have gone on for days and for weeks, it has been known that Lukaku wants to join only Napoli and even rejected an approach from Aston Villa. Napoli have made significant progress and should now be able to sign the Belgian.

Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed that the move is approaching after Napoli offered €30 million plus bonuses and a resale percentage to Chelsea. Napoli are now positive about signing the striker and this formula seems to be more suitable to the Blues.

It is higher than the previous offer, which was at €25 million and bonuses leading to a €30 million figure. An initial loan was also put forward but it now seems as if the deal will be done.
