Updates on the wellbeing of a trio of key Napoli stars have been provided on Friday.

The Partenopei will of course mark their return to action alongside the rest of Serie A this weekend, on the back of the latest international break.

A tricky trip to Atalanta lies in wait for new boss Walter Mazzarri, who will be desperate to get his 2nd stint in the Napoli dugout up and running in positive fashion in Bergamo.

And hopes of as much on the part of the Italian, today, have been afforded a boost.

This comes amid confirmation that all of Victor Osimhen, Alex Meret, and Piotr Zielinski have returned to full training.

Frontman Osimhen and shot-stopper Meret were both forced onto the sidelines of late owing to respective injury concerns, whilst midfield conductor Zielinski was forced into a premature departure from international duty with Poland after being struck down with a bout of tonsillitis.

As confirmed in an official release across Napoli’s website and social media platforms, though, the trio look set to be available in at least some capacity on Saturday, after training alongside the rest of Mazzarri’s squad.
