Napoli fire warning at PSG over Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Talks have been advancing in the past few weeks between Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23) and Paris Saint-Germain. The departure of Kylian Mbappé (25) has made the need for a new flexible attacking talent the number one priority at the club, and the Georgian winger the prime target to address that need.

However, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Napoli have warned PSG that they are not willing to part with their talent. The Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has begun to work on extending Kvaratskhelia’s contract, as they look to multiply his current wage by six.

PSG will need to work to convince Napoli

There is still a chance that PSG could sway Napoli but they would have to break the bank to convince De Laurentiis as he values Kvaratskhelia as worth more than Victor Osimhen (25). The Nigerian striker unlike Kvaratskhelia is on the market this summer, and with a release clause of around €120 million, it appears as if PSG will have to travel beyond that sum if they want to secure their priority target.
