Napoli could seal move for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku for €25 million | OneFootball

Serie A giants Napoli could be able to seal a move for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku for a fee of about €25 million.

La Gazzetta dello Sport today mention that the Belgian remains keen on the move to the Partenopei and while he is currently on holiday, he is waiting for the switch to go through. The striker is waiting to reunite with Antonio Conte and the move would only go through when Victor Osimhen is sold.

Lukaku’s lawyer Sebastien Ledure has been working to find an agreement with Chelsea on Napoli’s behalf for sometime now. While the Blues would want Lukaku’s release clause of €44 million to be triggered, there is a feeling that an agreement could be reached halfway and at a fee of around €25 million.

To play under Conte again, Lukaku is willing to reduce his salary demands. It stood at only €7.5 million per season at Roma but he is happy to earn less at the Partenopei, to make sure that the move goes through. In a way, conditions are present to make the deal go through, as they wait for Osimhen’s exit.
