NAC Breda report to De Graafschap for Van den Bergh successor

NAC Breda are trying to lure Rio Hillen (22) away from De Graafschap, with a view to signing the defender as a replacement for the departed Jan Van den Bergh at the Rat Verlegh Stadium.

Van den Bergh recently swapped NAC for Júbilo Iwata in Japan. According to Voetbal International sources, Hillen’s acquisition can fill the gap left by Van den Bergh in Breda.

De Graafschap has little choice in this agreement, with Hillen’s contract including a departure clause. NAC are reportedly paying several hundred thousand euros for the player, who signed from Ajax in the summer of 2022.
