The Moroccan international comes back home after a mixed spell in Egypt.

Reda Slim is back at his boyhood club! AS FAR Rabat has officially confirmed the return of the Moroccan winger from Al Ahly, following several days of negotiations.

Slim leaves the Egyptian giants just two years after his arrival. His time in Cairo fell short of expectations, plagued by limited playing time and recurring injuries. Despite making 44 appearances in the famous red shirt, he managed only five goals and provided three assists. According to reports from several Moroccan media outlets, Reda Slim rejoins AS FAR on a loan deal with an option to buy. Al Ahly will reportedly cover 55% of his salary, while the military club will pay the remaining 45%, amounting to around €400,000. The purchase option is said to be set at €700,000.

Returning to familiar territory could reignite Reda Slim's career, especially with the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations set to be hosted in Morocco. It's also a fantastic opportunity for AS FAR, who significantly bolster their attacking options ahead of crucial domestic and continental challenges.
