Manchester United will likely reinforce their midfield during the summer transfer window after a tough season in the Premier League.

The club should swoop for Hugo Larsson as a replacement for the 33-year-old.

The youngster has caught the eye with late runs into the box and should only get better with age and experience.

The midfielder has ‘enormous‘ potential, according to Eintracht chief executive officer Markus Krosche.

The German club want £50 million to sanction his sale. United should grab the opportunity to sign him as he can also operate as a defensive midfielder.

Larsson would be a perfect foil for Manuel Ugarte in the heart of the midfield. Bruno Fernandes could be pushed into his more preferred number 10 position.
