Motta’s post-match comments

Thiago Motta commented after the win that sees Bologna go through to the round of 16: “The goal was to get through to the next round, it’s good, a sign of consistency. We are showing continuity in our play and the results, this is how we appear as a squad. Seeing 12,000 people in the stadium on a Tuesday night for the Coppa Italia round of 32 is something big, and we have to always thank the fans of Bologna. We will be back in training straight away for Lazio, Friday will come soon enough and we need to be ready”.
