Lecce star Morten Hjulmand has reportedly sparked interest from several Serie A clubs.
According to TuttoAtalanta.com, Inter Milan, Roma and Atalanta are all interested in securing his services, while Eintracht Frankfurt are also keen.
The 23-year-old has been a very important member of Lecce’s squad. He played a key role in helping his side earn promotion to the Italian top-flight last season, starting 36 league matches and contributing three assists.
The midfielder has also made a strong start this campaign, making 14 league appearances.
His performances haven’t gone noticed as several top Italian clubs are being linked with him.
The Nerazzurri are looking for a back-up to Marcelo Brozovic and believe Hjulmand to be a good fit. La Dea are looking at him as a possible replacement for Marten de Roon.

Top midfielder
Hjulmand started his senior career at Austrian outfit Admira Wacker before moving to Lecce in January 2021.
He has since made 74 appearances across all competitions, with seven assists to his name (stats from Transfermarkt).
Hjulmand plays as a defensive midfielder who is highly rated for his tackling, aerial duels and ball interception skills.
He has averaged an incredible 2.5 tackles, 2.1 interceptions and 1.9 clearances per game in the Italian top-flight this season.
Hjulmand has also completed 2.3 long balls boasting 76.9 percent passing accuracy (as per WhoScored).
