Moretto: Milan waiting for ‘official proposal’ from Bologna for Pobega – the situation | OneFootball

Tommaso Pobega’s position at AC Milan has been on the slide for some time and an exit is firmly on the cards this summer. A report has suggested movement could be made within the next few hours.

Before the mercato began, the topic of a midfield renovation was already being spoken of, and heavily. However, the conversations are still ongoing even after the Rossoneri bit the bullet and signed Youssouf Fofana.

In the past weeks, there have been several reports linking the club to midfielders, and this morning, the Diavolo ‘reached an agreement‘ with Silvano Vos – a young Dutch midfielder. The underlying issue, though, is that attached to reports of interest, have been claims that departures must happen before any arrivals.

Potentially, a departure could be on the cards, though. According to a report from Matteo Moretto, talks are ‘underway’ for Pobega to move to Bologna and the Rossoneri are waiting to receive an ‘official proposal’.

Given the midfield is already bloated, there is no place for Pobega within the team currently, and if some funds can be earned with the sale, and a place freed up in the squad, then it is only a good thing. Especially considering the midfielder’s recent injury issues.
