Montpellier HSC are looking to rebuild this summer. Following the club’s relegation to Ligue 2, there will be a swathe of departures. The likes of Akor Adams, Arnaud Nordin, and Moussa Al-Taamari all left in January and a swathe of further departures is expected this summer. Joris Chotard, Becir Omeragic, Modibo Sagnan, Kiki Kouyaté, Téji Savanier, and Jordan Ferri are all expected to leave on a permanent basis. The contracts of Wahbi Khazri and Issiaga Sylla have expired and will not be renewed.

Loanees will also return to their parent clubs, including Bamo Meïté, who will return to Olympique de Marseille, and Andy Delort, who will return to MC Alger. However, MHSC hope to retain RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Rabby Nzingoula (19).

The Strasbourg midfielder excelled while on loan with La Paillade last season, making 27 appearances. As they seek to return to Ligue 1, La Paillade are negotiating a deal to retain the player, as per L’Équipe.
