The partnership is set to continue this season with Penders and Paez set to link up with the French outfit.

Penders has linked up with Chelsea this summer from Genk but the young goalkeeper is set for an immediate move away in search of regular first-team football.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Penders will travel to Austria on Monday to join up with Strasbourg for their pre-season training camp.

The 19-year-old is set to be followed by Paez, with discussions between the teams ongoing over a loan move for the teenager.

Paez, who turned 18 in May, has already won 18 caps for Ecuador and last summer became the second youngest scorer in a Copa America, aged 17 years and 53 days.
