Paris Saint-Germain shockingly let a 2-0 half-time lead slip as they were defeated 3-2 by Monaco away from home on Friday night.

Kylian Mbappé was dangerous early on, needing just 25 minutes to fire his side in front, racing through before emphatically finding the far corner.

He added a second from the penalty spot when Rafinha was fouled and almost had a hat-trick before the break, only for VAR to deny him after a neat finish.

Monaco reduced the deficit shortly after half-time when Kevin Volland sat Keylor Navas down before finishing and on 65 minutes, they found their equaliser.

The German netted again when Cesc FĂ bregas did well to nudge the ball to him and he was left with the simplest of finishes to tee up a grandstand finish.

And it delivered in the final 10 minutes when Abdou Diallo committed a foul in the area (which he was sent off for), allowing FĂ bregas to score a dramatic winner from the spot.

The result keeps the champions four points clear at the top with 11 games played, with Monaco now moving up to second.

Elsewhere in Ligue 1 on Friday evening, Bordeaux won 1-0 at Rennes thanks to a Hatem Ben Arfa strike.
