Davies is currently on loan at KV Kortrijk, who currently ply their trade in the Belgian top flight.

Registering eight goals for them in 26 league appearances, he has certainly made a good impact since his loan exit from the Cardiff City Stadium and is doing enough to generate interest from elsewhere.

His contributions may not be enough to keep KVK in the top tier, but looking at his situation selfishly, he will just be wanting to focus on his own game to ensure he's in the best possible shape ahead of his return to the Welsh capital.

The 22-year-old has developed well and could potentially be in line for an exit during the summer transfer window, having previously attracted interest from Burnley.

This interest from the Clarets came back in the summer of 2022, but he didn't endure the best 2022/23 campaign, scoring just once for the Bluebirds.

But he has managed to kickstart his career this term and may have done enough already to ensure that he has a place in Erol Bulut's plans for the 2024/25 season.

Interest in Isaak Davies

According to The Sun, AS Monaco are among the teams that are interested in Davies, with the club potentially able to offer the Welshman the opportunity to ply his trade in the French top flight.

This could be an ideal move for the 22-year-old, considering France is located between Belgium and the UK.

It definitely seems as though his loan move to Belgium has potentially opened up new doors for him, with these European clubs keeping a close eye on him.

His contract in the Welsh capital doesn't expire until the summer of 2025 though, so any club that comes in for him will need to pay a fee.

Isaak Davies needs to engage in Erol Bulut talks before taking Cardiff City stance

Davies needs to talk to Bulut to discuss what role he will have next season.

As a Welshman, starting for Cardiff regularly will be a dream for the player.

But if he's going to win more game time elsewhere, he needs to seriously consider an exit because at his age, the 22-year-old needs to be playing as much football as possible.

Making a permanent move away from the Cardiff City Stadium will be difficult, but he can confide in other Welshman who have done the same before, including Ipswich Town loanee Kieffer Moore if he does seal another summer switch.

The 22-year-old is thriving at his current loan side and with his contract expiring in 2025, the Bluebirds may see this summer as a great opportunity to cash in on him for a decent amount.
