Molde coach Erling Moe: We gave Arsenal too much room to play their football

Molde coach Erling Moe felt they stood off Arsenal's players too often during last night's Europa League defeat.

Moe believed they gave Arsenal too much room and time to play their football on the night.

He told VG: "We allowed too much pressure to come onto us in the second half, and they had a lot of room and were able to create too much.

"But despite of this, at 2-1 we could have scored from a solid chance. When we get 3-1 in the face, it gets heavy on the outside."

On Martin Ellingsen's goal in the 4-1 defeat, Moe added: "It was positive, it showed we could compete with them."
