Mohamed Elneny joins Besiktas on loan for the season

Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has joined Turkish club Besiktas on loan for the rest of the season.

Elneny has found games time hard to come by under Unai Emery and was told earlier this month that he would not be part of the coach’s plans for the upcoming campaign.

A number of clubs have been linked with the Egypt international, but the north London side have confirmed that the midfielder will go to the Istanbul outfit for the rest of 2019/20.
