As part of the trip to Saudi Arabia, two AC Milan representatives were present at a visit to the Italian embassy in the capital of the country.

MilanNews reports that this morning in Riyadh four delegations of the teams that will compete for the Supercoppa Italiana visited the Italian Embassy. Representing the Rossoneri were Senior Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada.

The teams met with Ambassador Carlo Baldocci. For Inter, the president and CEO Beppe Marotta was present, for Juventus it was former captain and now director Giorgio Chiellini, and for Atalanta it was their CEO Antonio Percassi.

Milan even gave a gift to the diplomat: a silver plate branded ‘AC Milan’. As a reminder, the Supercoppa is a four-team competition: the Rossoneri will face Juventus before playing the winner of Inter-Atalanta in the final, should they make it past Thiago Motta’s side in the semi-final.

At present, there is a drought of silverware for the Rossoneri, which is not helped by Inter’s recent successes. The last sight of a trophy came in 2022, with the side lifting the Scudetto, so there is a dream to win something at this opportunity. In addition, there is a new coach in charge to impress.
