The game between AC Milan and Roma tonight will attract the eyes of Italy but there will also be some special guests at San Siro who come from outside of the borders.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, for three days starting today Milano will be an armoured city with tight controls enforced by the police due to an event that is taking place, namely meeting of the G7 Infrastructure and Transport Ministers has begun at Palazzo Reale.

In the city there will therefore be delegations from the ministries of Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, as well as the European Union, represented by the Transport Commissioner.

At San Siro tonight the American ambassador Jack Markell and the American consul Douglass Benning will be present at San Siro as Gerry Cardinale’s guests, and they will be joined by the transport ministers of the G7 as organised by the Prime Minister Salvini.

It will be two Italian rivals meeting in Europe and there is an added American flavour two given the ownerships of the two clubs. Milan have won seven in a row coming into the game, while both teams have won eight of their last 11 in the league, so they should see a fascinating contest.
