Francesco Camarda could feature for AC Milan’s senior squad this weekend against Parma, but he has reportedly remained in training with the Futuro squad.

With Alvaro Morata set to miss this weekend’s fixture against Parma, there is a spot open in the senior squad, and Camarda could be in line to take it, with Paulo Fonseca reportedly giving the idea a lot of thought.

However, whether he will actually play a role within the squad on Saturday is unknown, given Fonseca also has Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor at his disposal. Additionally, the Futuro have a fixture on Sunday night, so this may be taken into consideration.

It is important to note, once again, that there is no rush to include the youngster in the first team picture, and the club want to lessen the amount of pressure on his shoulders. However, Fonseca will not deny opportunities when they arise, and this is what the Morata injury has opened.

Nevertheless, Milan News reports that there have been no changes to Camarda’s preparation, and the youngster has trained, as normal, with the Futuro squad ahead of their fixture this weekend. Of course, this does not mean he will feature in some aspect on Saturday, but it suggests that a decision may not be as close to being made as imagined.
