VfB Stuttgart chief Sven Mislintat can't see Borussia Dortmund turning down Chelsea should they come through with a mooted mega offer for Erling Haaland.

Chelsea are said to be willing to offer €175m, as referred to by Mislintat, for the Norway striker, knowing his contract carries a buyout clause of €75m - which can only be triggered from next summer.

Via Fussball Transfers, former Arsenal chief scout Mislintat stated to Kicker: "So far it has been said that BVB won't sell him.

"In some media, including 'kicker', it is reported that there will be an exit scenario for 75 or 80 million from next year.

"If a club were to put down 175 million now: Can you afford to forego 100 million for a year? There are pain limits, but we are at least able to raise them."

With Borussia Dortmund, since his January 2020 move from Red Bull Salzburg, Haaland has scored 57 goals in 59 appearances. The Norway international striker has a contract with Dortmund to 2024.

And now Haaland is being linked with a big money move to Chelsea this summer, though can be signed in 12 months' time for €75m courtesy of a buyout clause written into his current Dortmund contract.

The 21 year-old has just returned to preseason training at BVB in the past week.
