Manchester City signing Erling Haaland has taken aim at Sweden defender Alexander Milosevic after Norway's win yesterday.
Haaland was key for Norway as his two goals saw them to victory against their Scandinavian rivals at the Friends Arena in Solna.
However, the striker, who has joined Manchester City in a £51million deal this summer, appeared to be the subject of goading by his Swedish marker. Footage appeared to show AIK defender Milosevic directing words towards Haaland on at least two occasions.
Haaland told TV2 Norway: "First he called me a whore, which I can assure you I'm not, and told me he was going to break my legs. Then I scored a minute later."
Milosevic was also asked about the exchanges but denied any had taken place, despite footage to the contrary.
"It is quite rude to say what he says, because I do not speak Norwegian and he does not speak Swedish, so I do not know how we should communicate," he said.
"I do not speak English on the pitch, so it is surprising that he says things I have not said."
