One of Inter’s strengths is the striker position but it seems like they are interested in reinforcing the position nevertheless. The players they are considering for this position are Jonathan David and Rasmus Højlund, as per Gazzetta.it. Another player they are looking at is Ange-Yoan Bonny of Parma. Jonathan David is available on a free deal, given that his contract with Lille is expiring this summer. He is linked to others too like Napoli, Barcelona and West Ham. Stylistically, he would make a much better backup to Lautaro Martinez than the present options Mehdi Taremi or Marco Arnautovic. At 25, he is the correct age profile too. He has been incredible, with 21 goal contributions in Ligue 1 this season. The form of Rasmus Højlund has been the exact opposite. He has had a massively disappointing season at Manchester United, scoring only 4 times in the Premier League. The United fans have lost faith in him but he does have previous experience in Italy with Atalanta. Juventus and Napoli also want him and he would cost a decent amount. At 21, Bonny is younger and more unpolished but his upside if Inter can develop him, might be greater than the other two. Kaulik Mitra | GIFN
