Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar continues his impressive run of form with another personal milestone in his young career.
The Serbian shot-stopper – who became Roma’s permanent first-choice in goal once Daniele De Rossi replaced Jose Mourinho as the team’s head coach in January – has once again found himself on yet another ‘Best of’ list.
This time around, Svilar’s name coincides with the highest number of saves made in this year’s Europa League campaign.
Despite Roma’s recent elimination from the competition, Svilar secured a first place finish with 54 saves made.
Qarabag’s Andrey Lunev (44) and Marseille’s Pau Lopez (40) – the former Roma keeper – came in second and third, respectively.
