Roma are ready to secure Mile Svilar’s long-term future with a new contract that will tie him to the club until 2030.

The Serbian goalkeeper, who arrived on a free transfer from Benfica B, has convinced everyone with his performances, earning him the title of best goalkeeper in Serie A.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the agreement is now complete: his salary will go from the current 800 thousand euros to 3.5 million plus bonuses, a figure that has also satisfied his agent, Vlado Lemic.

“I’m happy at Roma and ready to stay for a long time,” the player is said to have confided to his entourage.

With the renewal, the Giallorossi are warding off foreign clubs ahead of the summer preseason training under the orders of Gian Piero Gasperini, which will begin on July 10.
