Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek went over some of the low points of the Rossoneri’s season.
A few weeks into preseason with Paulo Fonseca, Loftus-Cheek looked back on Milan’s past campaign.
More specifically, the Englishman expressed his disappointment with the team’s elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Daniele De Rossi’s Roma.
“The good thing from last season was second place, which is not first but should be taken positively,” Loftus-Cheek told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The bad thing: the Europa League quarter-finals. We had a good chance and we didn’t take advantage of it,” he added. “We should have done better then.”
