Milan booked their place in the Coppa Italia quarter finals after a comfortable 4-1 rout over Cagliari.
Scorers: Jović 29′, 42′, Traorè 50′, Leão 90+1′; Azzi 88′
Luka Jović opened the scoring shortly before the half-hour mark by bringing down Theo Hernández’s cross from the left and sweeping past Boris Radunović.
The Rossoneri went further ahead through the same combination as Jović beat his compatriot for a second time following a superb a surging run from Hernández.
Chaka Traorè added a third for Stefano Pioli’s side early in the second half with his first goal after squeezing a low shot home from a goalmouth scramble.
The visitors snatched a late consolation through Paulo Azzi firing a low long-range effort which beat Antonio Mirante at his near post.
But Rafael Leão rounded off matters for Milan in the first minute of added time to seal their place alongside Lazio, Fiorentina, Bologna and Frosinone in the last eight.
