Milan Primavera's amazing season keeps getting better. After seven years, the Rossoneri are back in the Coppa Italia Primavera Final, thanks to a 1-0 win against Lecce in a contested semi-final at the PUMA House of Football. Filippo Scotti's scored to book our spot in the final, having already scored against the Salentini in the recent league match in January: the 18 year-old scored his eleventh of the season in all competitions to give the side a well-deserved win.
Guidi's side created a lot of chances during the match, including Comotto's strike which hit the post, alongside other big missed chances in the first and second half. Against a more experienced Lecce side (nine 2005-born starting players), the Rossoneri played with authority. The final will take place in April, and we will face the winner of Cagliari v Juventus in a bid to win our third Coppa Italia. Looking ahead to the league, we have our most difficult clash coming up. On Sunday 16 we will face the leaders Roma.

MATCH REPORT After a few Rossoneri attacks, the first chance went to the guests with Winklemann's shot which was saved by Longoni. Scotti had a good chance in the 15th minute, but his effort went just wide. Liberali was stopped in the area in the 18th minute, while Bertolucci sent the ball over from a good position in the 21st minute. The intensity of the match increased, and on the counter-attack Rafailǎ came out to deny Bonomi before a super save from Longoni who deflected Bonomi's shot onto the post. The match was lively and filled with chances, the best chance came in the final moments of the first half when Scotti passed to Sala, but he opened his shot up too much from a tight angle.
The beginning of the second half was as intense but had fewer chances. In the 55th minute, Bakoune burst forward and shot, but it was blocked by the defence. From the following corner, Liberali dribbles and shoots, but it does not hit the target. Scotti does everything right in the 61st minute, but his shot went just wide of Rafailǎ's goal. The Rossoneri's efforts are rewarded in the 68th minute, as we made it 1-0: the ball was played deep to Scotti who remained cool under pressure to slot it home. Lecce tried to respond, but after Bertolucci's goal was ruled out for offside, we pushed again with two big chances through Magni and Comotto which were both saved by Rafailǎ (the ball hit the post on the second occasion). Liberali could've finished the game off in the 86th minute but in the end, we responded to each of Lecce's attempts. The joy of the Rossoneri erupted as Rispoli blew the final whistle. We're off to the Final!
