Milan Primavera 1-4 Roma: Abate’s side well beaten by dominant Giallorossi | OneFootball

AC Milan Primavera’s inconsistent start to the season continued as they were beaten 4-1 by Roma at home this afternoon.

It was a heavy defeat in terms of the scoreline but the performance was not entirely bad from Ignazio Abate’s side, who kept plugging away for large parts of the game. The Giallorossi scored the opener early through Cassano, who took advantage of a rebound in the penalty area after a corner and beat Nava with a low shot.

The home side tried to get back into the game with Chaka Traoré looking dangerous on his runs, but then 33 minutes in Roma made it 2-0 with an excellent strike from Pisilli on the edge of the area.

The second half began in a disastrous way as the referee gave a fairly generous penalty to Roma, but Missori hit the post. However, he then gave anoth penalty to the Giallorossi, who this time converted with Pagano.

The final two goals came right at the death as Omoregbe scored with a nice header to reduce the deficit to two, then D’Alessio made it 4-1.
