Milan and Chelsea agree on a €18 million deal for Mike Maignan

Serie A side Milan have agreed on transfer fees with Premier League outfits Chelsea for Mike Maignan.

According to a report by Marco Guidi of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan and Chelsea have found common ground in the negotiations for Mike Maignan. The Rossoneri have agreed to settle on a €18 million transfer deal proposed by the London-based side for the French goalkeeper.

Milan named their asking price of €30 million for Maignan and Chelsea came up with an initial offer of €15 million, including bonuses. Chelsea felt that the Rossoneri’s demands were high and they went to agree on personal terms with the player to gain leverage in negotiations.

Finally, Milan are set to receive a bit higher amount than Chelsea’s first offer in their coffers. Massimiliano Allegri’s club are now expected to go for Roma’s Mile Svilar, who has been impressive in the Serie A for quite some time now.
