Milan have now made the first official move to sign Divock Origi when his contract at Liverpool expires.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that Milan have now sent an email to Liverpool to inform them of the desire to sign Origi once his deal at Anfield runs out.
It is a mandatory step since the rules provide that, even if the player is arriving on a free transfer, or if his contract is expiring, it is necessary to notify the club to which he belongs to in writing. Following this, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be able to negotiate directly with the player for the signing and the wages, which should be around €4-€4.5 million euros per season at the Rossoneri.
Origi has reportedly rejectedalready communicated his desire to Liverpool.
