Tuttosport newspaper reports that Milan have identified two potential backup strikers for next season: Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca and Lecce’s Nikola Krstovic.
Milan are interested in Serie A strikers Lucca and Krstovic as backup strikers for Santiago Gimenez in 2025-26.
According to Tuttosport newspaper (via Milannews), the centre forwards cost €25m each and both had been sounded out in the January window before signing Gimenez from Feyenoord.

Lucca has already been linked with Napoli and Inter, but according to Tuttosport, even Premier League side Nottingham Forest are interested in the Italian centre-forward. Lucca has scored 10 goals in 28 Serie A matches this term.
RedBird Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Lucca’s idol, so the Rossoneri hope the ex-striker’s influence will convince the 24-year-old to pick the black and red side of San Siro.
Krstovic has similar figures, having netted 10 times in 29 Serie A appearances in 2024-25.
Milan currently rely on Tammy Abraham as Gimenez’s backup striker, but the Englishman is on loan from Roma and is unlikely to remain at Milan beyond the summer especially if he doesn’t cut his €5m-a-year salary.
