Milan Futuro suffered yet another defeat in what has been a difficult debut season for them in the league, this time losing to Pineto at home.
After our bonus podcast picking apart Milan Futuro’s struggles this season, they naturally clinched three massive points as they prevailed 2-0 against Perugia on Sunday. Kevin Zeroli was the hero as he scored a stunning bicycle kick, clawing Daniele Bonera’s side out of the bottom three.
The hope was that the win would light a spark and a surge up the table, but a goal in each half for Pineto condemned them to another defeat. Noah Raveyre’s foul allowed Bruzzaniti to score from a penalty in the first half.
Things got worse for Daniele Bonera’s side when they went two goals down in the 73rd minute when Schirone scored, but this one was more unlucky to concede as it came via a ricochet inside the penalty area.
Milan finished the game with 10 men due to a last-man foul by Coubis late on, and that rather summer up the evening as they lost to a side with greater experience. The Rossoneri remain firmly in a relegation battle, in 17th place with nine points from their first 11 games.
