Como and Milan are stuck in a deadlock over the future of Spanish forward Alvaro Morata, as reports from Italy claim Galatasaray are refusing to help terminate the player’s loan early.

Como had been strongly rumoured to be close to a deal for the experienced striker; just waiting on an agreement between Milan and the Turkish club to bring the player back from his loan.

According to what has been reported by Tuttosport, via MilanNews24, the deal is far from off. The reports claim that new developments on behalf of Milan or Morata’s representatives could quickly shift the balance once again and the player’s desire to join Como could prove pivotal.

However, for now, Galatasaray are standing in the way of Cesc Fabregas’ side and their ideal striker.
