Maxim De Cuyper is at the center of a market plot involving two Serie A big names.
After Roma’s interest, Milan has also decided to move for the 2000-born left-back owned by Club Brugge.
According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri management have already initiated contact with the Belgian club, identifying the 24-year-old as the ideal profile to replace Theo Hernandez, whose transfer to Al-Hilal is now at an advanced stage.
Theo’s possible arrival in Saudi Arabia has also had repercussions on the Giallorossi market: due to the Saudi attack for the Frenchman, Angeliño’s transfer to Al-Hilal, a club that saw the Spaniard as a valid alternative, has fallen through.
Now, the future of the former Leipzig player remains up in the air, while De Cuyper’s profile also risks becoming the subject of fierce competition between Roma and Milan.
