Lionel Messi found the net again on Saturday meaning he and Luis Suárez have outscored 16 LaLiga teams this season.

Barcelona are far and away the top scorers in Spain this season on 48 with the two forwards netting a combined 26 goals.

With Messi on 15 and Suárez on eleven, only Sevilla, Levante and Celta Vigo have scored more.

Real Madrid have managed only 24 goals while Atlético, in second, have 25.

Messi’s strike in Saturday’s victory over Celta Vigo, kept him ahead of Diego Simeone’s men who managed only one goal against Espanyol.
