On the sidelines of the Rouge et Blanc training camp in England in Birmingham, the Brazilian, present at St. George's Park, took the time to introduce himself at greater length and to outline his methods and his objectives for the Club.
Appointed at the beginning of June to take over from Paul Mitchell, the new Director of Football, Thiago Scuro joined the AS Monaco players this week at their training camp in England. It was an intense week of training in super surroundings at St. George’s Park for Adi Hütter and his players, and it was also a time which the Brazilian took advantage of to explain his choice in joining the club, and to share more about himself.
I have always placed great value on human relationships, and I believe I can bring all of that, and create a feeling of belonging. We must be proud to be at AS Monaco.
“My name is Thiago Scuro, I am 41 years old, I am married with two children, and we are all very excited about this new challenge”, started the former sporting director of Red Bull Bragantino, speaking to the Club’s cameras. “I have always placed great value on human relationships, and I believe I can bring all of that, and create a feeling of belonging. We must be proud to be at AS Monaco,” continued the new Monegasque leader.
This closeness was on show throughout the week of training in England, whether it be with the staff or the players. The goal? “Trying to bring my know-how and my experience to write the next beautiful chapter in the history of AS Monaco”, he avers, aware of what the club of the Principality represents in the French and European footballing landscape “and even in South America”, he wishes to specify, at the dawn of the centenary of the club.
