Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has lavished praise on Manchester United attackers Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Mbappe is considered the best young player in the world by most experts and fans.

While they have not reached his heights, Rashford and Martial are also viewed as two of the best in their positions.

And Mbappe believes they are truly world class forwards on their day.

"When you take a penalty [Rashford against PSG in the Champions League two seasons ago] in that situation, how much practice you have put on the training ground doesn't matter," Mbappe said.

"It's about confidence and he's a player who plays with so much confidence. He's one of the most dangerous forward players in England. Paul Pogba has spoken about how special he is – and he doesn't talk about players in such a way often."

Rashford was also praised by Mbappe for his recent work on the child poverty problem in the UK.

"To tackle an issue as important as child poverty is one of the most important things that somebody can do," he added.

"So I have full respect that he's been doing that and trying to make a real change.

"I do think there is a requirement for players to use their position to make a difference in the world. We've been given so much and it's important that we give back."

On his France teammate Martial, Mbappe said: "He's a player I have a great understanding with.

"Playing with somebody as talented as Anthony makes your job easier.

"I'm sure he'll have another big season with Manchester United and I look forward to playing with him for the national team again. He's a very good friend but also a player that I connect very well with."
