Matthijs de Ligt's girlfriend might have revealed his next move | OneFootball

Some of Europe’s biggest, most prestigious clubs have been linked with Matthijs de Ligt this summer.

The Ajax captain was sensational in their run to the Champions League semi-final with many speculating that the teenager could cost as much as €100m.

The fight over his signature has been an arduous one, with plenty of rumour and counter-rumour as to where he will be playing next term.

However one report in the Netherlands has claimed that the defender’s girlfriend, AnneKee Molenaar, might have just given the game away as to his next move.

De Telegraaf say that she has been spotted in Paris with De Ligt’s mother, touring properties throughout the city, in a car put on by Paris Saint-Germain.

Their story says that PSG have been helping with his move to the French capital, and are now confident that they have won the battle for his signature, having offered an astonishing contract worth €340,000 per week.
