Matthaus backing Bayern Munich to go for Mane and Chelsea striker Lukaku

Bayern Munich great Lothar Matthaus wants to see his old club to raid the Premier League to rebuild their attack.

Matthaus is backing Bayern's move for Liverpool striker Sadio Mane, though is also urging them to bid for Chelsea centre-forward Romelu Lukaku.

"I would recruit Romelu Lukaku if a deal was financially feasible," he told BILD.

"Lukaku and Mané for Lewandowski and Gnabry, if Serge were to leave the club. It would be quality and charisma.

"With that attack, Bayern would not have to hide from any team."
