Marseille to sign Jordan Veretout for €10m by the weekend

As reported by , AS Roma and France international midfielder Jordan Veretout has agreed personal terms with Marseille over a move this summer transfer window while a full deal between the clubs is also close.

The 29-year-old Veretout, say the sports daily, is expected to join the Velodrome club by the end of the week despite also being in contact with AC Milan over a move. The deal has been in the offing for some time but was delayed by Roma coach Jose Mourinho wanting to find a replacement before allowing the midfielder to leave the Italian capital.

Marseille are expected to pay around €10m to sign the former Nantes, Aston Villa and Saint-Etienne player who is very keen to join Marseille and is looking to regain his place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad ahead of the World Cup in November.
