Following a morale-boosting 3-0 victory against Lyon in midweek, Marseille will be hoping to build some momentum as they travel to Lorient in Ligue 1’s late Sunday evening kick-off.

Gennaro Gattuso is set to stick with a 3-5-2 formation following its success against OL – who currently sit at the foot of the Ligue 1 table. After such an impressive victory, rotation is expected to be minimal from the Italian coach, with L’Équipe reporting that the former Milan coach is only set to make one change from the midweek Olympico.

This change is set to come in the form of Jonathan Clauss replacing Michael Murillo at right back, who scored in the victory against Lyon. The French international right-back was benched for the rescheduled fixture. Marseille will be without Iliman Ndiaye who is serving a three-match suspension. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Vitinha are both set to keep their places in attack after finding the back of the net in midweek.

Marseille likely XI vs Lorient:

Pau López – Chancel Mbemba, Samuel Gigot, Leandro Balerdi – Jonathan Clauss, Jordan Veretout, Azzedine Ounahi, Amine Harit, Renan Lodi – Vitinha, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
