Olympique de Marseille are on the brink of loaning Portuguese midfielder Vitinha (23) to Serie A outfit Genoa CFC, with a 7M€ deal for Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovskyi (30) already having been agreed, as per Fabrizio Romano and Sky Sport Italia.

As per Italian transfer expert Romano, Marseille are set to agree a loan deal for the Portuguese midfielder with a non-mandatory option to buy for 25M€ in the summer.

Vitinha has three goals and two assists in 18 Ligue 1 appearances this season, whilst Malinovskyi has just two goals and one assist from nineteen appearances.

Marseille are working on several deals in the last week of this January transfer window, with the departures of Pape Gueye and Jonathan Clauss being mooted by various sources in France. Gennaro Gattuso’s side currently sit seventh in Ligue 1, three points behind fifth-placed Lille in the first European spot.
