Marseille have confirmed the appointment of new head coach Jean-Louis Gasset.
Gasset was last seen on the sidelines for Ivory Coast at this year’s African Cup of Nations but was unceremoniously sacked after their poor run in the group stages.

Gasset was given the boot by the Cote d’Ivoire after two years in charge with the country then going on to win the tournament on home soil.
But the 70-year-old has quickly found a new job as he returns to his home country to take over from Gennaro Gattuso at OM.
Marseille are currently ninth in Ligue 1 and haven’t won a game in the top flight since December 17.
