It’s going to be a fun family battle in Serie A, as Inter striker Marcus Thuram is already gleefully mocking his baby brother Khephren for joining Juventus in the legacy of their father Lilian.
Khephren was born in Italy when their Dad was playing for Parma in March 2001 and the whole family would move to Turin a couple of months later for the transfer to Juventus.
Now he is following in his father’s footsteps by wearing the Bianconeri jersey, completing a €20m move from OGC Nice.
Naturally, the social media team at Juve ran with this narrative, noting how Khephren is the “son of greatness” destined for a future at Juve.
So Marcus, who joined their rivals Inter last summer, joked on Instagram that Khephren was seemingly “an only child” now.

He also referred to his brother as “the heir” to the crown and got out the popcorn emojis when replying to the official Juventus announcement: “I am just here for the comments.”

It will most likely be a Scudetto battle between the brothers, but more than that, where will Lilian go for his kids?
The World Cup winner was a regular in the stands to watch Marcus play for Inter, but if Khephren is on the pitch at the same time, which arena will he choose?
