Gladbach sporting director Roland Virkus has revealed that Thuram and Ramy Bensebaini have opted against new deals.

It comes just a day after the Foals announced the exit of Lars Stindl at the end of the campaign.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a productive season, bagging 16 goals and five assists in all competitions.

After growing into one of the most prolific centre-forwards in Europe, Thuram earned a spot in France’s World Cup squad last year.

Premier League trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the Frenchman.

The Red Devils’ priority is to sign a top-class striker, with Victor Osimhen, Goncalo Ramos and Dusan Vlahovic on their hit list.

Inter Milan are also in contention for Thuram, identifying him as a top target to reinforce their attack because of the uncertain futures of Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku.

The Nerazzurri will face tough competition from La Liga giants Barcelona for his signing.

Thuram is an ideal signing for Barca from a financial point of view as they are targeting free transfers due to their economic crisis.

The Catalan giants have been tracking the French striker for a while, and club directors Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff admire his profile.
