Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has allegedly determined the move he’d like to make this transfer window.

Following the arrival of new Man United manager Ruben Amorim, Rashford was swiftly sent to Aston Villa on loan, where he enjoyed somewhat of a revival in form.

Despite his rising performance, Villa confirmed that they decided against making his move permanent.

Still, this anticlimax is far from the end of the Englishman’s transfer dreams, with several other clubs reportedly showing interest in acquiring his services.

The Peoples Person relayed that Newcastle United are reportedly seriously considering signing Rashford, while FC Barcelona remains a dream destination for the United academy graduate.

According to recent reports, Rashford decided to reject Newcastle’s advances as well as those from Chelsea, with the player focused on a Barcelona move.

Now, it appears as that Rashford has confirmed what his transfer priority is this summer.

“Marcus Rashford is prioritising a move abroad if he leaves Manchester United this summer,” The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported.

“The forward still has three years left on his Old Trafford deal but does not appear to be part of their plans,” the article continued, indirectly acknowledging the friction between him and Amorim.

“Although a sale would be United’s wish, Rashford is also open to leaving on loan or as part of a swap deal if suitable opportunities arise. His entire career so far has been spent in England, and solutions might come from there before the transfer window closes.”

“However, Rashford currently favours a switch overseas and ideally one that would enable the England international to compete for titles. In the meantime, he intends to report with the majority of United’s squad for the start of pre-season training on July 7,” the report concluded.

For United, it appears that Rashford may indeed be quite flexible when it comes to his proposed transfer, with the player open to moving to an array of clubs abroad, provided that they are of a high enough level to compete for silverware.

While he may be open to a loan, this would be far from ideal for United, who would be better off raking in some revenue from his sale, particularly since he seems to have no way back into the squad.

Of course, his sale would also help fund United’s ambitious transfer plans, with the likes of Bryan Mbeumo firmly on the lips of the United faithful.
