Middlesbrough striker Marcus Forss took to Twitter to react to his side’s 3-1 win over Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday.
Boro made it three consecutive league wins with the victory over the struggling Bluebirds. Forss gave the visitors the lead when he finished off an excellent team move, but the hosts equalised when Callum Robinson capitalised on Zack Steffen’s loose ball and set up Sory Kaba to tap home.
Boro went back in front in the 38th minute through Cameron Archer’s first goal since joining on loan from Aston Villa last month, before sealing all three points when Riley McGree fired home from Matt Crooks’ cross.
Michael Carrick’s men have won 10 of their last 12 league games and remain third in the table, 10 points behind second-placed Sheffield United ahead of the meeting between the pair at Bramall Lane on Wednesday night.
Forss continued his own excellent form with his goal, meaning the 23-year-old now has five goals and one assist in his last eight league games and seven goals in total since his summer move from Brentford.

The Verdict
It was another excellent afternoon for Boro in South Wales.
Their outstanding form under Carrick is showing no signs of slowing down and their performances are arguably improving, with the arrival of Archer giving them a new dimension to their attacking play.
Forss has thrived since his move out to the right and he is becoming an increasingly reliable source of goals.
One of the main positives for Carrick is that despite having the Championship’s top goalscorer in Chuba Akpom, his side are not overly reliant on him, with the likes of Forss, McGree and Archer all capable of regularly contributing.
