OGC Nice star Marcin Bulka has on Friday spoken out over the recent speculation linking him with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona.
The name of goalkeeper Bulka has of course featured prominently in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last couple of weeks.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the brass at the aforementioned Barcelona had begun expressing an interest in the signature of the Polish international.
Amid a search for a long-term replacement for the sidelined Marc-André ter Stegen, Bulka – whose contract with Nice is due to expire in 2026 – is understood to have been earmarked as a target for next summer.
Whilst away on international duty on Friday, the 25-year-old, in turn, was unsurprisingly drawn on his ongoing Camp Nou links.
And, in quotes gathered by Diario Sport, Bulka did not exactly do much to put the rumours to bed:
“As they say, there is a grain of truth in every rumour. When it comes to transfer matters, I would prefer my agent to speak. I am here to be fit every week and to give arguments for at least talking about clubs like this about me. It is definitely a compliment. When someone talks about these clubs it is always an extra incentive for me and a sign that I am doing something right. If I didn’t play well, probably no one would say that. Today I am in Nice and I am focusing on the club, because we are only at the beginning of a long season. I have to be even more focused on the here and now to prove that those who say it are right.”
