Barcelona fans received more good news following a stunning 7-0 win in the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Thursday.
Minutes after the full-time whistle, the club confirmed Mapi León has signed a new contract.

The 28-year-old central defender will now stay with the club for another two years until June of 2026.
León has played 237 games in all competitions in seven seasons, with 17 goals to her name.
She currently sits among the top 10 players to have played most games for the team in history.
