Despite only being at the Parc des Princes for a season, Manuel Ugarte (23) is facing an uncertain future at PSG, according to L’Équipe.

Les Parisiens’ work in the transfer market in the summer of 2023 was extensive and included the acquisition of Manuel Ugarté for €60m from Sporting. PSG beat Chelsea to the signature of the Uruguyan international midfielder. However, the PSG summer signing has clearly not had the desired effect since making the switch to the French capital.

With Luis Enrique seemingly not convinced by Ugarte’s contributions since his arrival, the club are now open to the possibility of a sale. Paris Saint-Germain have even offered the player to Juventus and AC Milan, L’Équipe reports. It remains to be seen if either of the Serie A clubs will generate an interest in the former Sporting defensive midfielder.

Not for sale at any price

Despite PSG being open to a potential sale in the summer, the Ligue 1 champions will not sell the Uruguyan midfielder at any price. If Les Parisiens are to sell Ugarte, they will hope to recoup as much as the transfer fee they paid for him in the last summer transfer window.
